Big news in the German Electronic music scene as Anja Schneider announces that she is to leave the label she set up 12 years ago.
Mobilee is without doubt one of Berlin's biggest labels and well-known across the globe with big releases by Anja herself as well as the likes of Sebo K, Solomun, Kevin Over, Maya Jane Coles, Nicole Moudebar, Nick Curly, Martin Landsky, H.O.S.H., Daniel Stefanik and many more.
Anja will leave with immediate effect and start setting up her new label SoUs, which she described as being '"the most personal project of my career." Speaking on her Facebook profile she made the following announcement:
"As of today, I'm no longer involved in Mobilee Records. After founding the label 12 years ago, it's time to explore new creative projects. Mobilee will continue business as usual run by label partner Ralf Kollmann. I wish him and the team all the best." She then went on to announce SoUS Music, a new label launching in the coming months that she says will be "the most personal project of my career."
We're looking forward to the new label already and no doubt Mobilee will continue where it left off. Good luck Anja, we're excited about your new project.
